Comprehensive Data Governance

 

The Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has implemented a comprehensive data governance manual that defines roles and procedures across all levels of government. This framework, which includes protocols for linking K–12 and postsecondary data, was instrumental in providing the state with new information on its dual language programs. By using established templates and standardized collection methods, OSPI efficiently delivered actionable data, supporting Washington's language immersion initiatives without the delay of starting from scratch.
